JobDorking builds job-search queries in your browser. An account is optional for searching and is used to save and sync your workspace.

Searches and browser storage

Your browser stores workspace information such as saved searches, activity, checklist progress, and display preferences. A pending save can be held temporarily in session storage during sign-in. Clearing this site's browser data removes local copies, but does not delete cloud data.

When you open a search in Google, the query is sent to Google and is subject to Google's privacy policy. JobDorking does not host job listings.

Optional accounts

Clerk provides authentication. Google sign-in requests your basic identity, email address, and profile information, not access to your Gmail messages or Drive files. Signed-in workspaces are stored in a Neon database associated with your account identifier so they can sync across devices.

Usage and service providers

JobDorking records daily aggregate counts of recipe selections, filter changes, search openings, saves, and account prompts. These event records use categories and counts, not your typed job titles, locations, or account identifier.

Vercel hosts the site and provides web analytics and performance insights. Clerk, Vercel, Neon, and Google may process technical information needed to deliver their services, such as network requests and device information. Authentication uses cookies or similar browser storage. Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts.

Your choices

You can search without an account, remove saved searches through the workspace controls, and clear local data through your browser settings. Removing browser data does not remove synced copies. For questions about account data or a request to delete cloud data, contact privacy@jobdorking.com.
